Old Mill Heritage Day in Pigeon Forge is a family friendly way to experience the past and present of the area. This free event includes many exciting ways to see firsthand what life as a Smoky Mountain pioneer was like. Activities include mountain crafts & demos, such as pumpkin painting, quilting demonstrations, a farmer’s market, sorgum making demonstrations, and more! There will also be world-class bluegrass, traditional folk songs, cloggers, twirlers and square dancing.
Be sure to bring the whole family, as there are plenty of kids activities. There will be a petting zoo, fire truck, kid’s music and also a special arts & crafts tent. These activities will be available until 4 pm.
Attendees will also be able to take a free guided tour of the 188 year old Historic Old Mill and see how antique engines and farm tractors were used.
